Typically no, we leave the mulch in the area of the tree. This is great material for your garden. We can remove the mulch at additional cost. Please request this at time of booking.
Typically yes, stump grinding is cheaper that stump removal. With stump removal using a digger / excavator you also need to pay for the stump disposal and backfilling the hole left by the stump with material / soil.
Yes, no problem. Our main stump grinder is 900mm wide at its widest point. So we need 1 meter clear access to get to the stumps. If this doesn't work, we can also use smaller narrower stump grinders to grind the stumps.
Yes a lot of gates are over 1 meter wide so we can fit through it no problem. If the gate is narrower than 1 meter we can use a smaller stump grinder.

We will grind the stump down to between 75mm and 100mm below ground level. This gives you enough depth for topsoil and grassing after the stump has been ground down. We can grind the stump down deeper if required, this will be discussed at time of booking.
Yes, for the plant to have enough depth this will normally mean the stump will need to be ground deeper than the normal 75mm to 100mm depth. We can grind down to 300mm below ground.

This will depend on our workload at time of booking, location and how big / small the job is. Normally jobs are completed within 1 week or less of booking confirmation.
